Pocket Ray Privacy Policy

Updated: 8 October 2026

1. Core app use

Pocket Ray (Android package com.vixora.quick_light) does not require a Vixora account for its core flashlight experience. The app uses device capabilities such as the LED torch, display brightness and screen-awake controls. Basic preferences may be stored locally.

2. Information you do not need to provide

Vixora does not require your name, email address, contacts, photos, precise location or payment information to use the core torch, screen-light and SOS functions.

3. Advertising

Pocket Ray includes Google Mobile Ads and may display advertising. Google may process device or advertising identifiers, IP-derived general location, app interactions and diagnostic information for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention under Google's own terms and applicable consent requirements.

4. Local storage

App settings may be stored on your device. Clearing app storage or uninstalling Pocket Ray may remove those preferences.

5. Internet and external pages

Core lighting functions are designed to work offline. Internet access may be used for advertising and to open Vixora support, privacy or terms pages.

6. Your choices

Android and Google advertising/privacy controls can be used to manage relevant advertising choices. Where required, consent and privacy options are presented before ads are requested.

7. Security and retention

Vixora minimizes direct collection for Pocket Ray. Information handled by third-party services is retained according to their policies and configurations.

8. Changes and contact

This policy may be updated when Pocket Ray's features, SDKs or legal requirements materially change. For privacy questions, use the Vixora contact page.

Data controller and contact

Vixora publishes Pocket Ray. Contact vixora.tech@gmail.com for privacy questions or applicable data requests. Include the app name; never send passwords, payment details or verification codes by email.

Purposes, legal bases and service providers

Core torch and preferences are primarily handled on-device. For advertising, Google Mobile Ads may process device, network, app-use and identifier data as described above. Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, requested app functionality may be processed to deliver the service, optional advertising features may rely on consent when legally required, and proportionate diagnostics and service security may rely on legitimate interests where permitted. Applicable third-party SDK providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices. Review Google's Privacy Policy and the Firebase privacy information where relevant.

Retention and international processing

On-device settings and progress may remain until you clear app storage or uninstall the app, subject to device backup behavior. Third-party analytics, advertising or authentication services use their configured retention arrangements; cloud data, if used, is retained only for the operating, security and legal purposes described in this policy. Processing by third-party providers may occur outside your country under their applicable data-transfer arrangements. For questions about a specific retention period, contact Vixora.

Your rights and requests

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal data, object to certain processing or withdraw consent for consent-based features. You may also complain to your relevant data-protection authority. To submit a request, contact Vixora using the address above; some actions involving data stored only on your device can be performed by clearing the app's data in Android settings.
