Tale Relay Privacy Policy
1. Accounts and authentication
Tale Relay uses account authentication to support contributions and saved activity. Depending on the sign-in method, Firebase Authentication and Google Sign-In may process identifiers such as account ID, email address and basic profile information supplied by the authentication provider.
2. Collaborative story content
Stories, branches and contributions you submit are stored so they can be shown to you and other users as part of the collaborative experience. Content you publish should be treated as information intended for community visibility within the product.
3. Cloud services
Tale Relay uses Firebase services such as Cloud Firestore and Cloud Functions for account-linked story data and trusted backend operations. Data is processed according to the app's configured Firebase region, security rules and Google's applicable terms.
4. Moderation and safety
Reports, moderation signals and relevant content may be processed to enforce community rules, investigate abuse and protect users and the service.
5. Analytics and crash diagnostics
Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics may process app-instance identifiers, app interactions, device/app metadata, crash traces and diagnostics to improve reliability and understand general usage.
6. No Firebase Storage in the current baseline
The current V1 architecture does not rely on Firebase Storage for ordinary story content and does not use Firebase Remote Config.
7. Retention and deletion
Account and story data may be retained while needed to provide the service, meet safety or legal obligations, resolve disputes and protect the integrity of collaborative content. Available deletion controls and support requests are handled subject to technical and legal constraints.
8. Security
Vixora uses authentication, security rules, validation and abuse-prevention measures, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
9. Your choices
You may choose what story content to submit and can use available account, reporting and support options. Authentication-provider privacy controls may also apply.
10. Changes and contact
This policy will be updated when Tale Relay materially changes its account, cloud, moderation or data practices. Privacy questions can be sent through the Vixora contact page.
Account deletion
You can request deletion of your Tale Relay account and associated personal data without reinstalling the app. See the Tale Relay Account Deletion page to start your request. Vixora may need to verify your account ownership; limited information may be retained where required by law or for proportionate safety, security or fraud prevention, as described in the deletion process.
Data controller and contact
Vixora publishes Tale Relay. Contact vixora.tech@gmail.com for privacy questions or applicable data requests. Include the app name; never send passwords, payment details or verification codes by email.
Purposes, legal bases and service providers
Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore and Cloud Functions support accounts, story contributions and moderation. Contributors should treat shared story content as visible within the app according to its published collaboration settings. Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, requested app functionality may be processed to deliver the service, optional advertising features may rely on consent when legally required, and proportionate diagnostics and service security may rely on legitimate interests where permitted. Applicable third-party SDK providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices. Review Google's Privacy Policy and the Firebase privacy information where relevant.
Retention and international processing
On-device settings and progress may remain until you clear app storage or uninstall the app, subject to device backup behavior. Third-party analytics, advertising or authentication services use their configured retention arrangements; cloud data, if used, is retained only for the operating, security and legal purposes described in this policy. Processing by third-party providers may occur outside your country under their applicable data-transfer arrangements. For questions about a specific retention period, contact Vixora.
Your rights and requests
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal data, object to certain processing or withdraw consent for consent-based features. You may also complain to your relevant data-protection authority. To submit a request, contact Vixora using the address above; some actions involving data stored only on your device can be performed by clearing the app's data in Android settings.
